Heritage restoration and rehabilitation
We carry out restoration and rehabilitation projects for heritage properties, preserving the original techniques and materials with which they were built, but adapting the buildings to current regulations regarding seismic safety, universal accessibility, facilities, etc.
Diagnostics, technical inspections and material characterization
We carry out surveys of buildings and archaeological sites using different methods (drone flight, laser scanning and photogrammetry); diagnostics and technical inspections to determine the state of conservation of buildings and sites, based on the analysis of the pathological processes present in the materials and the agents of deterioration in the environment. We have state-of-the-art instruments to help us carry out non-invasive surveys.
Financing management for the development of cultural heritage projects
We are specialists in applying for competitive funds to obtain financing for the development of heritage projects, thus assisting communities, organizations and owners of heritage properties that do not have sufficient resources.
Enhancement and characterization of archaeological sites
We work on the registration, characterization and enhancement of archaeological sites, carrying out surveys of the structures and determining relative dates based on the analysis of construction techniques and the movable cultural material present.
Research on cultural heritage
We carry out exhaustive and interdisciplinary research on the built heritage of different regions of Chile, combining different sources of information and involving their local communities.
Procedures and obtaining permits
We prepare and process building permit files before the Municipal Works Directorates, intervention of buildings and sites with protection of Historical Monuments or located in Typical Areas before the Council of National Monuments and intervention of Properties or Historical Conservation Areas before the SEREMI MINVU.
Design of sustainable architecture projects
We design small-scale architecture projects, using natural materials and rescuing traditional local techniques where they are located. We try to use only passive energies for environmental comfort and make the most of the characteristics of the environment.
Execution of new works and restorations
We have a small team of teachers specialized in traditional construction techniques, with whom we carry out new works and restorations of small-scale properties.
